Tacos from a Texaco?!?!

Ok, this one is for all my people that like really good street style Mexican tacos. You know? Those good, greasy, cilantro and onion, green or red salsa tacos. Well of course there is the ever so amazing Fuel City(GoodByFernando! Review pending) tacos but if you are craving good tacos at some weird hours of the night and don’t wanna get shot, shank, robbed, etc. etc. then I have a good place for you. The place is this small little Texaco gas station(figures a lot of good taco places are found inside gas stations). It is located in Garland, TX at the intersection of Broadway and Centerville. Now, these tacos are GOOD. You have one of the few places that does “Al Pastor” tacos straight off the “trompo”. They are so damn good, but what really makes me rave about them are the lengua(or tongue for all the gringos out there reading this)tacos. The tongue is  is soft, exquisite and delicious. They do offer other good food like quesadillas, burgers, and your choice of meats by the pound already cooked if you are looking for a something a little more family style to take home.
All in all Fernando says go nuts, go try them. You won’t regret it. Service is promt, courteous and effective. It is a little on the “Mexican” side and there might be some English difficulties with some workers but hey, you are in TEXAS.

GoodByFernando! opinion:Damn good tacos.
